Started creating tracks for the new PopperHnool album.
Traditionally, not all tracks have to be funky.
This is a prime example of the musical vibrations of 80s pop sound.

Basic genre - psychedelic trance.

In this album I want to share my mood and ideas which came to me during recent years.
They are like waves reaching me in my life and none resembles another.
Each wave brings a story, which becomes the basis for each track.
In my vision this album is not a line pointing in some direction, it is rather polyhedron, which forms the space of my creativity.

This EP contains remixes of classical music.
Some of them are well known but even those have some changes.
An interesting fact is that many musical parties used in these tracks actually present in the originals
but they are not leading ones, they can not be heared in the foreground of those classical compositions. 
In my music I tried to give them new interpretation through sound synthesis and arpeggiator.
Usually a number of trasformations leis between the idea and it's realization. These transformations can distort the original meaning
and the idea of music. And only a fine line separates irony from the idiocy.

"Ain't no mountain..." was one of this tracks where apart from basic synthesis technics we used a lot of "MIC"ing and field recording. SHotguns, contact mics, pocket recorders became our best friends. We grab foleys, drones, industrial noizes and sounds of nature.Then we carefully blend it in a special brew that was professionaly flavored and served by mr. Alexey Transdriver. Bon Appetite.

When stations became deserted I started on the hunt for Moscow Metro sounds.
Speaker announcements, escalator sounds, rumble of wheels, whistle of rails - all these inspired creation of acoustic scene of Moscow subway.

Rudimentary Synthesis 
Tracks of the period: 1995 -1998. 
From the author: 
The style of this music is very close to Goa Trance with elements of Acid-sound of those days. 
Release includes some tracks, which were part of Analogue Terror album, but also those, which remained unknown till this time. 
We were drastic! 
That was an era with no VST instruments. We used only original synthesizers, inexpensive sound cards with limited memory, which was capable of accomodating just several sounds. 
Most of methods implemented in such synthesis were dropped over time as useless - became rudimentary. 
Hence the name of the release - Rudimentary Synthesis. 
Mastering brought me a lot of troubles. Some tracks sound with distortions, since were created live, and mixing console "Elektronika" was overloaded. 
Despite all these, many tracks contain very interesting musical discoveries. 
Hope you will enjoy origins of contemporary Transdriver sound.

This release includes tracks from 1998 to 2003 years.
For me, that was the most interesting period in the trance culture. The era of classical goa-trance was over, but modern trance styles were not yet robustly formed. 
There was plenty of experimentation in music.
I did not master the tracks intentionally, to retain the original sound, so that a listener could immerse into my music of those days.
Problem 2000 - is a choice of further way of development, faced by most of the producers of the time.
