Made while spending the night in Atlanta international airport, waiting for a connecting flight to New Orleans.

Saturn's rings extend from 6,630 km to 120,700 km above Saturn's equator, average approximately 20 meters in thickness and are composed of 93% water ice with traces of tholin impurities and 7% amorphous carbon. The particles that make up the rings range in size from specks of dust up to 10 m.

This is a  demo of the sounds of the Buchla 259T manufactured by Tiptop Audio, a faithful  eurorack version of the legendary Buchla 259 Complex Oscillator -the mother of all complex oscillators found today.  Sounds  of other oscillators are not included for the sake of this demonstration.

His ears were growing sensitive to a preternatural and intolerable degree, and he had long ago stopped the cheap mantel clock whose ticking had come to seem like a thunder of artillery. At night the subtle stirring of the black city outside, the sinister scurrying of rats in the wormy partitions, and the creaking of hidden timbers in the centuried house, were enough to give him a sense of strident pandemonium. The darkness always teemed with unexplained sound, and yet he sometimes shook with fear lest the noises he heard should subside and allow him to hear certain other, fainter noises which he suspected were lurking behind them.

When I heard his version I got the idea of sound and vision, that two or more junk parts collide in space, run forward, backward, faster, slower... and I like to puzzle these parts  on my 8tracker, Hercules starlight controller and Koala handy-sampler together, it was a lot of fun
