HØLEIGH has been contributing to Manchester’s darker side of dance for several years, but began to surface in late 2019 which saw her transition to techno, electro and trance. Prior to this, Høleigh was collecting a broad range of UK dance styles, hardcore, hard house, trance and hard techno. Musical elements from these genres are echoed in her track selection. This evolution most likely accounts for the predilection of 145bpm+. Accelerating from start to finish and constantly shifting through the gears, Høleigh’s intuition when performing resonates with dancefloors and its punters, all of which stems from her dynamic and idiosyncratic way of mixing and using dj equipment innovatively.
