i wrote this song as a way to cope with the loss of one of my friends who passed this year. as much as it's supposed to be a remedy, it still hurts to think about it more and more during the process of me making and uploading this. i still cry a lot, i still break down in the worst places to break down in, and i still, still miss you lyn. i feel guilty almost everyday for not being there for you in LA, even though you probably had everything you needed at the time. i feel guilty for so, so many things. i feel better but worse at the same time every day. it's like i never can really be done crying about it, y'know? i could cry my ass off tonight (as i probably will) and still feel horrible tomorrow and do it all over again. i feel lost. but i'm still trying. that's all that matters.
