As someone that has dedicated his whole life to music, SOXA has crafter a soulful and delicate piece of music that combines a plethora of genres ranging from soulful, jazz & latin encompassed into the realm of house music. A very particular aspect of this song is the fact that is about lost love due to the love of your craft (music in this specific case) and trying to get back that love after realizing that it was a matter of self-discovery rather than a choice between both. This is relatable to everyone at some point in time.

 Life In Stages features the amazing vocals of the late Donny Hathaway in his cover of Leon Russell’s A Song For You. It features heavy deep basslines and soulful yet melancholic chords that fit perfectly with Hathaway’s vocals.
