Imtakkt Guest Podcast

Fascinated by the energy of Hip Hop music, German Deep House & Tech House, Hamburg based DJ/Producer CRAM bought his first turntables at the age of 14 and immediately started djing. Still underage at the time of his debut release, his mother had to sign his first record contract with the popular German Hip Hop label "Yo Mama Records“. CRAM ́s love for electronic music started in the early 90ies, when he fell under the influence of the blossoming and truly exiting electronic movements of this time. Ever since CRAM has been exploring, developing and shaping his personal blend of House Music.

Born and bred in Liverpool a city famous for its vast musical history, and with a family where after a pan of scouse a song around the piano isn't uncommon, Liam is no a stranger to music. Growing up, intrigued by his fathers wide collection of Vinyl & Tapes including the likes of Grandmaster Flash, New Order & Kraftwerk Liam began to take a liking to electronic music from a young age.

Whilst studying electronic music production and working around the clock on his productions at home, Liam's hard work finally paid off. By the end of 2011 Liam had secured his first vinyl release and had secured the interest in various other record labels, his journey in music had begun. Today with multiple labels under his belt, Liam's original '90's sound' continues to earn the respect of his ever growing fan base and followers.
 
Recently teaming up with fellow scouser and house music producer 'Lauren Lo Sung' has meant that Liam plays resident to one of the hottest nights right now 'LoLife'. With his constant new releases, work with vocalists, collaborations and UK gigs fast spreading across to Europe in 2013, this looks set to be an exiting year for Liam King.
