With his fable (fetish?) for electronic gear of all kinds he’s able to disassemble and fix his Technics 1210 and build his own set out loudspeakers which probably makes him the coolest nerd I know. 
As a lover of a gritty analog sound he only plays 90s wax which he solely dug out for bargain prices (what a Sparfuchs).

Alexi Delano and Zahir, AD and Zee, craft a pair of kinetic techno jams, tying a connecting thread between Stockholm and Toronto. Few producers develop the kind of diverse and multifaceted signature sound that Alexi Delano has become known for, while simultaneously being one of the most prolific collaborators in the game, with numerous joint projects receiving such wide and reputed acclaim. The AD and Zee matchup is no exception.

'Toronto Shake Down' and 'Shake Down Revised' are each a construct of arpeggiated modular synths connected intricately with classic techno rhythm programming. The flow and convergence of slippery melodic filter work and strategic drum pattern highlights clearly display the expert focus in the arrangements which were recorded live takes done in Zee's Toronto studio.

Shake Down gets diverse remix treatments, resulting in a rolling jazz-tinged, motor city electro-funk burner courtesy of AFT Lounge Tech, and a deep, moody ambient techno remix by Forward Memory of Scotland, whose perennial synth work evolves from pastoral halcyon to hypnotic cyclone.

Marking it as the second release on Rose’s label "Solid Wood", Dreams builds upon the label’s ethos, rooted in honest yet uncompromising music, with tracks that range from driving dub techno in "Unseen Realms," burning IDM breaks ("Renaissance"), ascending melodic techno house ("Universe"), and an experimental acid 2-stepper in the closer, "Hierophant."

Unseen Realms

"Alien's Discotheque LP" is the second album of Sebastián Mella and his project Fantasna. It comes after "Cuéntame", released in March 2017 on Pirotecnia Label. "Alien's Discotheque" is composed of ten tracks, where electro, ambient, and house combine to create a story in real-time. For Sebastián, this record "represents an imaginary space, white, sometimes empty, other times crowded. A place where an unreal party is happening, a party that will never have a setting. It is a pause in time, a dream composed of disconnected images, memories from previous times, and longing for the future. It is a collection of moods and ideas that represent what we have lived during recent times." 

All tracks were recorded, produced, and mixed by Sebastián Mella, Fantasna, between 2017 and 2021 in Estudios Little Vatican, in Santiago de Chile. (linktr.ee/fantasna).
