Alexi Delano and Zahir, AD and Zee, craft a pair of kinetic techno jams, tying a connecting thread between Stockholm and Toronto. Few producers develop the kind of diverse and multifaceted signature sound that Alexi Delano has become known for, while simultaneously being one of the most prolific collaborators in the game, with numerous joint projects receiving such wide and reputed acclaim. The AD and Zee matchup is no exception.

'Toronto Shake Down' and 'Shake Down Revised' are each a construct of arpeggiated modular synths connected intricately with classic techno rhythm programming. The flow and convergence of slippery melodic filter work and strategic drum pattern highlights clearly display the expert focus in the arrangements which were recorded live takes done in Zee's Toronto studio.

Shake Down gets diverse remix treatments, resulting in a rolling jazz-tinged, motor city electro-funk burner courtesy of AFT Lounge Tech, and a deep, moody ambient techno remix by Forward Memory of Scotland, whose perennial synth work evolves from pastoral halcyon to hypnotic cyclone.

Future Architects — a new project by producers Angelina Rose and Florian— cultivate a world of diverse club bangers in the 4-track EP.

Both producers combine to create Future Architects — a new project forged between like-minded spirits with musical passions for driving dub techno and grounded in sweaty mid-nineties parties. 

Rose, a Hanover-based, Ukraine-born producer, brings her classically-educated depth with producer Florian—label head of Charmin Records and co-founder of Too Rough 4 Radio—where they explore their mutual love for raw and edgy dancefloor bangers.

Prophetic Dreams. Marking it as the second release on Rose’s label "Solid Wood", Dreams builds upon the label’s ethos, rooted in honest yet uncompromising music, with tracks that range from driving dub techno in "Unseen Realms," burning IDM breaks ("Renaissance"), ascending melodic techno house ("Universe"), and an experimental acid 2-stepper in the closer, "Hierophant."

Funboys is a Norwegian-Australian-Belgian music collaboration, born from a mutual penchant for late nights, stiff drinks, bad dance-moves, techno and punk.

Juno has described the Funboys sound as “impressively madcap” and “inspired lunacy.”

Funboys has released a variety of music on Tronik Youth’s UK label NEIN Records,  Golden Bug’s French label La Belle Records, Australian labels Here To Hell, Unknown Records, Sweat It Out, Club Sweat, and Future Classic. Pulling strings kick their label off with a heartfelt bang with their 4 track VA EP.

@dj-postkiste – better known under his real name Simon Klotz – is a 28 years old DJ and music producer, based in Mainz. He discovered his love of music at an early age through classical guitar lessons and the first records that his father gave him. Today he is a well experienced and talented vinyl selector and DJ of all kind of electronic music. He is mostly known as a resident at the legendary Missing LINK partys based in Darmstadt / Germany. 

Whether he's playing some heavier styles of techno or softer house music, he always manages to keep that stuff groovy and chooses tracks that have a special something.

Meanwhile he is focusing on some own productions and first releases under his new alias DJ Postkiste. You better stay tuned and enjoy his vinyl-mix!
