✈ We are delighted to welcome, for the very first time, dutch dj, based in Amsterdam, COMRADE WINSTON.

Comrade Winston could not have wished for better soil to grow as a DJ. The scene in his hometown of Nijmegen, located in the eastern part of the Netherlands, has given him ample opportunities to hone his skills. 

Now based in Amsterdam, his sound has caught the ear of many music enthusiasts, dancers and promotors. Fast mixing techniques and a taste for old school records from the 90’s with real groove and funk have achieved mayhem on many dance floors and have given him a strong reputation within the techno community. These abilities at the decks have earned him a position as a steady player at the infamous Reaktor parties as well as a residency at Operator Radio. 

Expect a trip courtesy through the widest spectrum of classic Techno music.

My next guest on Yax Invites is Stier, a DJ and Producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. 

"From Argentina, living in Buenos Aires, I was influenced by the synth sound of the '80s and '90s.

It was 2011 when I first dived into the universe of techno, getting to explore all of its subgenres, digging deeply to find the talent hidden within. I’ve always held that there can be no rules in music; everyone simply puts into it their own way of making and feeling it, and then their rhythm becomes what they feel it should be.

In 2017 I started making my own music, a work which remains in constant progress even today, rediscovering, reintroducing, and re-configuring the context. This project has developed different facets including a career of performer and audio producer by experimenting with a grat variety of musical streams. Every interpretation is done in order to create an atmosphere based on Techno and generative Art.

I’ve worked in collaboration with DifferentSound Records,TMM Records, Praxis Records, Synergie and many more. My main influences have been DVS1, Jeff Mills, Sleeparchive, among others. During this year, I’ve focused on shaping and perfecting my own sound as it evolves, remaining faithful to its characteristic sound of quest".

@no_name_italy 's fascination for music stretches back into his childhood. Born and raised in Bergamo, northern Italy, and now based in Berlin, his musical journey started with hip-hop and punk, and then he discovered electronic music through underground illegal parties.
Since then he started digging techno and electronic music in general, feeding a passion that has only grown during the years.

Inspired by the rawness of old school techno and the groovy vibes of more contemporary tracks, no.name decided to pursue his passion for electronic music, started his own collective Crea with some friends.

Today, he is a producer, gaining renown through his own self releases series called “Hard Drive Series” as well as through recent releases on groove-focused techno labels such as Room Trax, SYXT, and PRX.
