"Untrue" by Burial is one of my all-time favorite songs, by one of my all-time favorite artists.

Now that I have no school for the rest of the year due to Covid-19, I'm planning on releasing a lot of music in the coming few months. I'm honestly pretty sad that the school year ended so suddenly, but it does mean that I have more time to focus on music. Insomniac

I was inspired to make this when rifling through some old notebooks of mine. One was filled with letters to people with unusual names, such as “Soylmm Iljii.” None of these people existed, and I had been writing to Imaginary Friends from around the age of nine to twelve. The muse for this nine-minute piece is the eeriness of writing a letter to someone, knowing they will never respond to you.

For some more context: The bird call at 8:15 is the mating call of the last known Kauai O’o, singing for a partner that doesn’t exist. The species was last heard in 1987.

I’m incredibly excited to present my first release in quite a while, a remix of Taevi’s track “Pâro.” This remix went through many reiterations, the result of which is a vast array of styles throughout. After abandoning the project for a while (even though I’d nearly finished it) I recently picked it up again and I’m glad I did. Huge thanks to @iamtaevi for letting me desecrate his beautiful track and bringing Pâro into this world <3
