ENHYPEN said the reason why they chose BTS' 'I Need U' is because "We want to express our different charms through a music with lyrical atmosphere and performance" and "It's meaningful [for us] to be able to tell the story of our K-Pop first love with a song that all members like."
"We heard that it was the first time Bang PD (HYBE's chairman) approved arrangements of BTS sunbaes' song," they said, adding "It's an honor for us that (Bang PD) participated in the arragement of the song himself."
