Belgium based music producer J.Nomad, real name Jessie Thijs produces Footwork/Jungle and Juke music.
Starting his musical journey in 2015 on Halogen Music being part of a various artists album gave him the likes of Belgian Dnb guru Murdock (Rampage). What followed was a single together with UK based music producer Crypticz that they released on Halogen Music aswell. “Downfall” dropped hard and got picked up by Om Unit and Hyroglifics to name a few.
After releasing a couple of other tracks including releases on Antwerp based footwork label Footjuice and a collab with Canadian beat wizards Greazus on Halogen Music, J.Nomad was being featured on Corrupted’s “Bussaback EP” with two collabs including “Holdin’ On” wich got picked up by Friction and being played on his legendary BBC 1Xtra Show.
 J.Nomad tries to grab back to the 90’s sound combined with chopped breakbeats and sampled iconic vocals that shaped the 90’s.

Greazus x Sinistarr - Mother F [Premiere]

Moscow trio Champion Sound debuts on Defrostatica Records with dancehall legend Hawkeye from Kingston for "Ghetto Youth", a hard hitting 85 bpm declaration to own the weekend with a little less conversation. The russian jungle soundsystem crew vibes more casually on "Talk" but the tune can't shake the warning undertone. The B-side features two international remixes: the US vapourwave king Nmesh channels his inner crowd control abilities on "Ghetto Youth" whereas Sun People from Austria rebuilds "Talk" perfectly for an all-out 160 bpm breakbeat twist.

Howitzer fires off two high-powered, 160bpm weapons for Sweetbox, returning to the Diffrent Music sister label for his second solo outing, after the success of last summer’s ‘Blackjacks’.

Lead track ‘Lemonhead’ rains down a fiery combination of militant drumwork and oppressive bass stabs. There’s an atmospheric tension and relentless quality to this one that’ll have ravers hooked from the first stomp of the kick drum to the outro’s last smouldering crackle.

‘Foundry’ takes a similar sound palette but approaches via a more sleuthy route. Sludgy low-end pulses meet a plodding beat, with each mean step chained together by the kind of yawning groove that can’t fail to have shoulders dropping in the dance.

Both tracks will be available digitally from Friday 22nd November, with a super limited run of 10” pressings available at the Clashmouth Drum & Bass Label Market on Saturday 9th November

Dexta comes with his most personal work to date: three Moog-fuelled tracks dubbed the ‘Third
Life’ EP.

Diverting away from his recent hypercharged club disruptors, the Diffrent Music founder instead opts for a more measured, and ultimately more hypnotic, approach.

Opener ‘Third Life’ is the most menacing effort, though in the manner of a relentlessly approaching stormfront. All ominous chords and descending scales, it has the air of a classical organ piece, rewired for the 41st century.

‘Swan Filter’ — produced with Iliad (one half of Conduct) — and ‘Letting Go’ offer some respite,via a sleuthy trip-hop joint and some achingly delicate autonomic, respectively.

Together as the ‘Third Life’ EP, they further showcase how Dexta’s versatility and ear of something out of the ordinary are as present in his studio work as they are when A&R-ing.
