New times of Brazilian Drum and Bass Gains Highlight with "Next Brazil" Compilation

Brazilian Drum and Bass is constantly evolving, gaining strength and notoriety every day with the emergence of hundreds of new music producers and DJs across the country. With unique rhythms and vibrant creativity, Brazil stands out on the world drum and bass scene, and to celebrate this rise, DNBB Records is pleased to present the new compilation "Next Brazil".

The compilation "Next Brazil" consists of three exciting volumes that bring together new talents of Brazilian Drum and Bass, together with more consolidated artists, but still not widely recognized in the musical mainstream. Scheduled for release in August, September and October, the album aims to show the world the diversity and potential of Drum and Bass produced on Brazilian soil.

"Next Brazil" is a vivid portrait of Brazilian cultural diversity, featuring artists from all regions of the country. Each track is a unique sonic journey, with different musical influences, bold timbres and catchy rhythms that show the richness of the Drum and Bass scene in Brazil. The "Next Brazil" initiative was born with the aim of revealing and supporting new talents that are emerging in the Brazilian Drum and Bass scene. Alongside renowned names in national Drum and Bass, these young talents have the chance to be recognized and acclaimed by the Brazilian and international public.

A visit back to our previous release is up next with a VIP mix of Joakuim’s IRR-009 track ‘Sharper Thoughts’. The intensity of the original intro remains here, while the drop seems to trade some of its aggression for a more atmospheric feel. The echoed bass growls that dominated the previous version are now less prominent, making way for the gentler, yet purposeful, rolling keys.

Five years in the industry marks a significant milestone for In-Reach Records, a label founded on a deep passion for Drum & Bass music and a mission to share that passion with kindred spirits. What better way to commemorate this achievement than with a compilation, ‘The Formation’ VA LP, that encapsulates the sounds and artists that have fueled the label’s journey so far.

All nine of IRR’s past contributors, along with key members of the In-Reach family, have collaborated to create this emotionally charged Various Artists album.

"The heavy bass drum and distinctive snare that introduce ‘The Clicks’ are a likely source of inspiration for its title. This attention grabbing break paves the way for the confident entrance of a rolling bass line, accented by growling synths and echoed pads to generate the perfect moody atmosphere."
