The launch of Sub Channel Music is the latest achievement of Max Hock, for many better known as Es.tereo or Theme. The cinematic soundscapes Max Hock has woven with his productions made long waves within the scene and were appreciated from music lovers all over the world. 
  
To gain more musical freedom and follow his inner beliefs, Max Hock now founded Sub Channel Music. Starting off with the magnificent "Earthbound EP", Es.tereo is going back to his roots and creates distinctive dark and tribal soundscapes; mixed with a strong organic vibe. To round this EP up, man of the moment - Homemade Weapons - delivers a fierce remix which erupted dance-floors from Berlin to Washington and has proven itself as a serious weapon numerous times.

Following the great reception to the label's first instalment, In-Reach Records is back with another three hard hitting and high-end Drum & Bass tracks for all heads to enjoy. The provider of this trio of sumptuous rollers is a man with a deep knowledge and passion for the Jungle / Drum & Bass scene - Sicknote.

The number kicks off with pulsating drum bursts fading in and out of the intro leading into a pause in the breaks and a definite calm before the storm. The twisting bass line sets the track off and it's quickly joined with the unruly drum break to create a tempestuous meld of elements that could inject a shot of life into even the most tranquil of ravers.

Brand new compilation NORTHSIDE documents the early years of jungle & drum&bass in this Northern country.  Featuring unreleased tracks all the way from mid 90s both by original pioneers and literally all the household names of the Finnish scene (Fanu, Resound, Muffler, Dice aka Tes La Rok, Physics...) the compilation album comes in a beautiful double vinyl gatefold sleeve format and as an extended digital release. Andy was one of the kindest souls we have ever had the pleasure of knowing and his loss has been felt throughout the music industry and beyond. 

He was such a humble artist who played gigs for the love not the money and made music purely for his and others’ enjoyment; music was his true passion. 

From his first release on Jerona Fruits Recordings in 2007 through Soothsayer Recordings in 2008, Fizzy Beats and Utopia music in 2009 and V Recordings in 2015 right up to his latest on Metalheadz and Inperspective, Andy’s sound is truly unique to him, whatever the style. His edits, pads and bass are instantly recognisable and the two tracks on this vinyl are no exception. 

We are releasing these tracks in memory of Andy and his music, loved by so many. 

On behalf of Andy, his family and friends please join us in continuing his legacy by promoting his music, old and new. Through this he will live on in our hearts, minds and sound systems, forever. 

To honour Andy and the person he was, all profits from this release will be donated to Cancer Research in his name.
