A cosmic event so minuscule and rapid that it is unsure as to whether it even occurred at all. This was the precursor to the formation of String Theory. A group and its self titled album comprised of Epidemic's Hex One and Swedish beat maker Boom Bappin' Zombie Darney. Only outside the realms of a structured paradigm can such a happening even begin to be analyzed. So too only under these conditions can it be formed. With concepts ranging from the abstract to the concrete, this anomaly in space time, this rift in the conscious fabric of reality, this naked singularity attempts to answer the basic human question: who are we really? The ambiguity of the universe's many laws is what drives this question, as every soul on this plane is searching for their own personal theory of everything. We ride it's intergalactic currents, weaving between supposed realities and lucid dreams, only to reminisce on how beautiful it all used to be. A graceful marriage between multilayered resonance and the seemingly forgotten art of rap. The inception of this body of work blurs the notion of identifying it as an album, as it is
simply a juncture made possible by infinitely specific circumstances, without which, String Theory would never have existed at all.

If we are a simulation, then in the ways that matter to us... we are real enough.

Mello Music Group rapper Red Pill is releasing the second single off of his upcoming album Instinctive Drowning. The song, Gin & Tonic, is a spiritual sequel to his 2015 song Rum & Coke, but with a disenchanted tone and a discouraged outlook. Maybe Red Pill is a hip-hop curmudgeon, but the new album demonstrates his ability to make himself vulnerable, wear his heartbreak on his plaid sleeve. 
The new album is entirely produced by Ill Poetic, swinging the production towards creative abstractions while preserving the intimacy and honesty of Red Pill's previous works. Instinctive Drowning will be here 8/26

I'm a left handed singer song writer who plays a right handed guitar upside down. My older brother Darren was right handed and he played guitar. I couldn't change his guitar strings around so I just learned to mess around on his acoustic by playing upside down and I basically played the bottom four strings. He taught me how to play some basic scales and stuff so I could jam a bit with him. 
Unfortunately Darren passed away at the age of 18 years old. After he died we found a bunch of his songs and poems in his room and that was it...I had to learn how to play so i could record Darren's songs. The problem was I only had the lyrics, no music. I eventually bought a bass guitar and I also played that upside down too. I started jamming with my cousin Andre in 1980 and then I formed my own band called Metalic Tales back in 1982-84. We played about 10 originals including a few of my brothers songs. I made up music as I got a little better and added Darren's lyrics to them. We also covered lots of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and the rest of the Heavy Rock bands of the day. In 1993 my cousin Andre died and I inherited his acoustic guitar and amplifier. The guitar sat on a stand in my home because I really didn't know how to play anything on the guitar until I had another cousin show me a couple of things about a year later...the next day I went out and bought a guitar poster with all of the notes on it and from that day on I started playing guitar and singing. The rest is recorded history...lol..I hope you enjoy my stuff,...it's loud, noisy and recorded by a buddy on his computer, but I had a hell of a time doing it.  One Love...
