In State of Void

Deep inside the industrial area of Beverwijk, where the blast furnaces roared, was created a new kind of metal, In State of Void.

In State of Void has already played at many stages, including an headlining gig at RIPevent Purmerend in 2013 and more recently they played at Popmania where they earned an honorable mention for the freshness of their sound. In 2014, during the dutch holiday Luilak, they even played in front of an apartment building at 5:30 AM, waking the residents full of joy.

Spring 2014, after already playing a fair amount of original songs, they started the recordings for their debut EP called Change. This was released at the beginning of the summer and contained songs about oppression and untruthful governmental policies which reflects the bands rebellious attitude very well.

Now I hear you think, what is listening to In State of Void like? Imagine an energetic combination of Thrash Metal riffs with smooth twin guitar leads, accompanied by rolling drums, punchy baselines and groovy beats. This alteration between harmonic melodies and thrashing riffs makes for a distinguishable sound and a pleasant experience that is hard to forget.
