Darker Than Red - Starship Stockholm

This is a soundtrack to a film about dominoes, which can be found here:  https://vimeo.com/567000192. The film was designed as a birthday celebration for a successful company in Ireland, who were understandably proud that they have survived and grown for the past 20 years when many others of their peer group have not!  Without the work of https://soundcloud.com/scorchviolinist/  there is no way it would have turned out as good as it did.

A banging remix of a 'click and clack' electronic track. This track was originally recorded by Pinkfield$  around 2005. We always thought it would make a good drum and bass track, and finally we managed it!

This is an attempt to add a dub feeling to a Drum and Bass track with a slightly different vocal overlay

Darker Than Red - Leaving Berlin (Luscious Fantasy Dub)

This piece was created to accompany an advertising video of a girl running around Berlin in the early morning. The film uses both CGI and shot video, and can be found here: https://vimeo.com/264265941

Darker Than Red - Running Over My Traces

This piece was created for a video that was created entirely in 3D Animation by Cutting Factory, and based on Alice in Wonderland in the technology age. The finished video can be seen here: https://vimeo.com/231589545

Darker Than Red - Stuck in Traffic

The purpose of this soundtrack was to show musicians collaborating using special software over a considerable distance. We used classical musicians in a pub setting, relayed to a techno music DJ in a club on the other side of town. Darker Than Red - The Right Shade of Skin

This started life as a techno track, though Cutting Factory is now producing a music video from it. A blog related to the video creation can be found here: https://cuttingfactory.net/hairclip/ . It uses a voice sample throughout, plus a bit of piano and guitar feedback from other soundtracks we have done.

Darker Than Red - Hair Clip

This started life as a soundtrack to an ad about a glass horse. It evolved to a wordless riposte to a legal issue, and in the end we used the same mix for both. The video can be found here: https://vimeo.com/349024810

This was our attempt to make a Dub out of our Hairclip techno track.

Darker Than Red - Kitty In Dub (Hairclip)

A techno track where the voice samples are meant to illustrate the curve of a relationship, from marriage to divorce. The preacher was recorded especially for it. It was for us quite unique in that we also recorded an electric violin in parts. Whilst there will be a video for it, we have only just begun the storyboard. This is an instrumental cover of a Don Gibson track from 1957, which is being used as a theme song for an animated video, whose story is a woman being abandoned outside a church in New Mexico. Darker Than Red - Kate Crying

This track (translated as "Water Snake") is a partial remix of a song created by Hemisfar approximately 15 years ago and recorded by (mostly) South African musicians - but in Sweden. The original was only released in 2016 by the Smallfunk label.  Our version of it mostly contains the backing vocals put to a more driving beat that picks up in intensity.
