Formed in 2019, In a Bag and their energetic yet emotionally-driven brand of alt-rock have made them one of the most promising new bands out of Toronto. The group formed during their time in Fanshawe College’s Music Industry Arts program, where the group honed its sound into a nostalgic, yet fresh combination of grunge, shoegaze, punk, and dreampop. 

The band has received coverage from CBC London, where their song Original Sin was featured on air as part of their Pride Month programming. They have also been awarded the Fanshawe Music Industry Arts program 2021 Studio Band of the Year award. 

Their debut EP - Algorithmically-Chosen Dystopian Nightmare Fuel  - explores themes of catharsis and release in the context of human relationships.
