Just over two hours of all things house, disco, nu-disco and italo disco, b2b with Scott Knight aka Avidity.

Avidity is the alias for Scott Knight, the creator of Disco Route and INACTION events. Having come into the scene just over a year ago with his Disco Route brand, Scott pulled together two packed out gigs at The Brain Jar, before rebranding and creating INACTION. Since having a Piper residency, supporting events across Hull and having their own debut in Tunnel last December. INACTION looks towards bringing Big Miz and other artists to Hull in due course. Scott brings a unique blend of classic house and disco with a modern twist to his sets.

Electronic Anthology ~A collaborative mix series showcasing a range of upcoming talent from some of my favourite DJs, Producers and Friends. Spanning the electronic dance music spectrum with a different guest each episode, cultivating an 'electronic anthology' of DJ mixes~

Scott Knight who goes by the alias Avidity is a DJ from Hull who found his way into the city’s popular music scene last summer. 

His love and passion for the culture is easily demonstrated with his enthusiasm behind the decks. He’s played at various venues and clubs around the city having held down 2 residency’s over the last year. In his short time in the scene it has seen him quickly become popular and a firm favourite amongst many of clubber as he continues to fill out venues and is definitely one too keep an eye on.

His event INACTION has come on leaps and bounds since starting last year. Hosting events at the The Old School House and the city's Tunnel Bar, their new home is the Hull's newest music venue & creative space KINGS which they have 2 headline events planned for summer. 

Tune into his mix for an hour of Disco and House groovers to pick you all up in this lockdown period.

For this weeks show we have guest MIDEX taking over the first hour for us. 

MIDEX is an East Yorkshire based DJ and Producer who has had a strong passion for music since his early teens. He taught himself to mix in his bedroom at 13 years old, experimenting with different genres across the spectrum, from deep house to techno. His sound has been refined to a more dubby, minimal style of house music in recent years, taking inspiration from Romania, the Netherlands and the ever-growing UK scene.
