iNANA skillfully combines wonky trap beats with acoustic instruments, spherical sounds, deep harmonies and strong vocals.

At her live show, electronic beats meet vocals sampling and a voice that gets under your skin.

In April 2018 iNANA released her first EP “How is the air” produced by media composer Iva Zabkar on the Austrian female-fronted label Beatzarilla. Although iNANA’s home base is between Vienna and Berlin, the project found itself musically in Brooklyn, NYC, where it seemed to fit perfectly.

On August 20iest she released the first single of her upcoming Album „I’m here“ which is a feature with the Austrian singer and musician „The Unused word.

“Tears Dry” by iNANA and The Unused Word is a female-only production. Two voices merge with each other perfectly – one fragile and angelic, the other dark and soulful. Strong vocals meet minimalistic producing, thus creating a subtle but deep, hopeful but melancholic environment. Thematically, the two singers lead through the emotions of first-time motherhood, a topic that also fuels the music video. With stop motion technology, impressions of a pregnancy are shown: the invisible inner world as well as the outer world.

The track was selected for the six-part mini-series “Am Anschlag – Die Macht der Kränkung” by Mona Film in production for ZDF and ORF (first broadcast on August 24, 2021), finding use in other life situations in which consolation is searched and found.
