Eternal Servant / Jim is a Goa trance DJ and producer from Orange County, California, USA. He began his journey as a DJ in 1996 after being exposed to Deep House and Melodic Techno in the clubs during his college years. In 1998, he was exposed to Acid Techno and Goa Trance (also Psychedelic Trance) at raves and private parties. He began playing professionally in the fall of 1998 - signed by both Sapphire Productions in Detroit, MI; as well as the Psychedelic Trance Liberation Front in Chicago, IL. At that time, Jim went by the stage name of Boppity; and became a staple name in the underground for being one of the pioneers to bring Goa trance to the Detroit area. In 2000, Jim was hired at a nightclub called The Temple in Ferndale, MI to be their headlining Thursday night resident DJ. Jim’s fanbase from the rave scene quickly dominated Thursdays at The Temple, and the residency ran for 13 months until new club management decided to remove trance from its offerings. In 2004, Jim was promoted at his day/office job, and focused on growing his career. While he stepped away from the decks at that time, he focused his studio time on learning sound design and electronic music production. In 2017, he began formal production study with his friend, mentor, and teacher:  Kri Samadhi. It was at this time that Jim rebranded his artistic identity as Eternal Servant. In April of 2021, in the midst of the COVID lockdowns, Jim returned to DJing and is back with a fierce passion for sharing the energy and message of Goa Trance with the world.

Eternal Servant is a Goa trance DJ and producer based in Orange County, California, USA (he/him/his). He began playing professionally in the fall of 1998 (previously known as Boppity,) and was signed by both Sapphire Productions in Detroit, MI, and Psychedelic Trance Liberation Front in Chicago, IL. In 2000, he was hired at a nightclub called The Temple in Ferndale, MI to be their headlining Thursday night resident DJ. The residency was a success until new club management decided to remove trance from its offerings in 2001.

In 2004, Eternal Servant stopped gigging to focus on growing his daytime career. In 2017, he began formal production study with his friend, mentor, and teacher:  Kri Samadhi. It was at this time that he rebranded his artistic identity from Boppity to Eternal Servant; and has been a member of the TOUCH Samadhi family since December 2019. 

In April of 2021, in the midst of the COVID lockdowns, Eternal Servant returned to DJing and is back with a fierce passion for sharing the energy and message of Goa Trance with the world.

This Maharetta episode features FICTION, the psychedelic trance project of Nikola Peric (part of Makida project), from Belgrade, Serbia. After years of total devotion to Makida, Nikola had to put his solo carrier on a side. Now, when Makida’s fan base has grown strong and continues to conquer the world's psytrance scene, he decided to activate his solo project as well. He’s debut EP “PsyNalysis” was released on Transcape Records in May 2017 and was instant hit. In the summer of 2018 Fiction joined Maharetta Records & with this new project, aiming to bring good old times back, psytrance like we had in the 2000s.
