Café de Anatolia Rec. rolls out a superb new EP from La'Dell that is rich in Afro house vibes to keep summer alive.   La'Dell is the Brooklyn-born artist bringing a heady fusion of organic, melodic and ethno house. His cultured sounds often climb high in Beatport charts and he now plays all over the world.   MaBeToNi is a serenely deep and dubby cut with twinkling piano keys ringing out into the night, then Mwanzo rides a stuttering broken beat. A gorgeous vocal soars up top next to the subtle percussion and smoky spoken words help cast a spell. Rapport then ups the energy with a nimble groove that heads into a cosmic late night with more authentic Afro vocals and rolling drums and percussion.

[MOZ001] Back Off EP - two carefully selected cuts for self-release by Mike Morrisey. The Libero Records boss opens the doors on his studio catalogue to give us a deeper insight into his identity as an artist, picking out two unreleased tracks that have been providing standout moments in his sets over the last 12 months.

‘Back Off’ moves things off with a seductive feel. Driving drum patterns and filtered key stabs add some authentic deep house flavour to the mix, the perfect companion for the track’s sultry vocal top line - making it instantly recognisable and equally as memorable.

Tipping the hat to his label, ‘Forza Lib’ runs a fine blend of Mike’s vision with Libero as well as influencing the track with more of his robust Tech House energy. A racy combination of shuffling hats and percs, punchy drum kicks and rumbling bass frequencies. A track made with peak-time slots and demanding dancefloors in mind.

Rising Dutch talent, M-High, debuts a sizzling two track single for Ben Rau’s META label this Autumn.  With previous releases for highly respected imprints such as Whoyostro, Blind Vision Records and upcoming on PIV Records, the artist otherwise known as Marijn Schiedon, delivers more bumpin’ house grooves on ‘Shine Through’.

The title track, ‘Shine Through’, instantly lays out a crisp and shuffling groove, as waves of pads traverse the industrious drums and vocal chops.  Accompanying track, ‘Slap The Decks’, bears its garage influences, as a tuff and skipping beat slams over a myriad of satisfying tones, and a gnarly bass riff to anchor this pure heater of a track!

Industry heavyweights Yousef, Alan Fitzpatrick and Avision team up for an astounding 2 track EP on Yousef’s Circus Recordings

The EP opens up with the dancefloor-destroying title track. A steady, up-tempo and commanding drum pattern builds the energy along with subtle synths that work their way around the rhythm. Enigmatic vocal samples flicker into the mix with high-octane echoing synth stabs cascading in halfway through, taking the track to dizzying heights.

‘Twilight Dance’ follows, kicking things off with dreamy percussion and shuffled shakers that welcome the arrival of firm 4/4 kicks. Built around a beautifully crafted jumping synth line the trio build the track with finesse layering punchy claps and zingy cymbals, punctured by occasional high-energy drones for a dose of pure euphoria.

Delivering two peak-timers, Yousef, Fitzpatrick and Avision come together to provide the sounds that are sure to shake up any dancefloor!

Next up this winter on Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records imprint is UK DJ & producer, Ki Creighton, with his debut 'Inhale' EP. Ki is no stranger to the House circuit, on the scene since 1991 and now majorly influencing matters both north and south of the border. With releases on respected labels including Elrow, Snatch, Circus, 8bit, Toolroom Trax and of course his own label, Under No Illusion, this talented DJ / producer is showing no signs of slowing down. The 'Inhale' EP showcases Ki's signature sound; percolating rhythms, crisp and energetic percussion, playful rise and fall basslines, hip swinging claps and vocal chants that ebb and flow throughout the compositions.
