Week/Track 2 of 2022
Getting back into the swing of things, it was a bit of a slow start for this one, not sure where I was going to take it. Landed on a couple of trad EDM grooves, so stuck with it.

Sticky Date

Right! So struggled a bit at the beginning with this one. I think I started too early on the mix before getting the parts down and got a bit stuck in a loop. Walked away and came back and felt like I needed to change it up ... So, I looked for a new tempo (nothing like that to break a block). Found a grooving slow tempo (85bpm) and knuckled down. After that most of it came pretty easy, but then spend a bit of time really trying to fine-tune the mix and master.

Yo! So sorry for the silence, I have been busy smashing out the tunes but not sharing #notsorry. Check out this beast. I wanted to create this epic track that leads you into thinking that it's one thing, but then slowly morphs into something that in the end is unrecognisable from the beginning. I am pretty happy with it.
