Last summer saw Kusp's first outing for the label, TSR005 gave us the wobblesome and driptastic 'One Question' and 'Eldorado'. Well it turns out that he "thinks he can make a name for himself, thinks he can become a big hustler" so we have invited him back for the first ever extended release on our label, and here it is, 'The Snake Charmer EP'. Chimpo presents the 'Troublesome Bubblers' EP.

An artist who needs little introductions, Chimpo was integral in a revolution that saw Manchester labelled by revered music critics as 'the dance music capital of the UK', as well as boasting a back catalogue of official remixes for legends such as Wu Tang Clan, Zed Bias and Omar.

This four track body of work demonstrates the 'Chimpo' sound to a tee; cheeky, steppy and techy. The project also features two collaborations, one with Sl8r and the other with Inqus.

'Troublesome Bubblers' embodies the spirit of the classic V Recordings sound, with influences of our pioneering artists such as Roni Size, Krust, Die and Suv heard throughout. Chimpo has managed to cleverly represent the 90s era using a modern sound.
