Three artists of Brazil origin coming together to craft the perfect club tool; ‘Rockers’. 

The V Recordings mainstay duo Alibi collaborate with Dunk (formerly ½ of Playaz Recordings’ Jam Thieves) to deliver a treat for any deep Drum & Bass fans. Both of their sonic pallets glue perfectly to create a techy, rolling track that would slot perfectly into any set. ‘Rockers’ by name, rocking by nature.

German-based producer, Tweakz steps up onto Transparent Audio with a 4 track EP, exploring different styles and sonics! Known for his bouncy basslines and melodic harmonics, Tweakz really shows his versatile style with his vibe-centric forthcoming release entitled the 'Affairs EP'. Constructed of 3 solo tracks covering the spectrum with a wide range of flavours, we are sure there is a little something for everyone in this release. 

Kicking things off with an extremely addictive upbeat summer anthem called ‘Got Me’, Tweakz demonstrates how liquid and funk go hand in hand together with a snappy vocal lead complemented by a floaty bassline and groovy synth lead. The title track ‘Affairs’ takes us on a totally different path, showing Tweakz’s perceptive of a moody dancefloor roller, consisting of a brain rattling sub groove intertwined with techy mid range growls and tight drums, a formula we know and love too well.  Drawing the EP to close with a luscious liquid track, ‘Memoirs’ hits all the right elements from its high sub-bass tones to the short stabbing vocal phases connected together with multiple chord progressions to create a dreaming wonder of emotion 

Accompanied by a remix from Hospital Records / Soulvent Records Askel, who showcases a mesmerising melodic but dancefloor flip to the original, the 'Affairs' EP is a body of work that'll make for superb listening at home and on the dancefloor, as well as being the perfect soundtrack to for summer.

t’s with great pleasure that we can welcome the formidable talent that is Ed:it back to the CIA fold. His last release for the label came a fair few years back now, in which time this fine producer has been slowly but surely honing his craft. Always one with an ear for the subtleties within the music and an ability to produce a range of styles, while his output may have quietened down over the last year or two, his work-rate in the studio appears to have done quite the opposite. These latest four tracks that he has given CIA seem to have many of the elements and personality traits of his earlier work, but with a further refinement and quality to them. 
‘The Keep’ comprises of four cuts, ranging from deep late night rollers, jungle inspired dub work-outs and all the way round to beautifully melancholic musical pieces. This body of work truly contains something for everyone, and while it nods to several of the important heritage points within our music, it sounds contemporary and cutting edge - the perfect middle ground for a constantly growing and developing musician.
