Higher Than Higher by Insity

This is a song for my dad.  My dad was the strongest, most persistent person I've ever known.  There wasn't a single challenge or setback he didn't rise up to meet and conquer.  His drive, perseverance, and unbounded determination will continue to inspire me for the rest of my life.  This past September, his myriad health issues finally wore him down, and he opted to have his heart pump shut off.  True to his spirit, he went out on his own terms, just as he lived.  Similar to the song I made for Mom before she passed, I wanted to do something to honor Dad as well.  This, along with the one I made for her, are, and will always be, the most important things I've ever done musically.

This one's for you, Dad.  I'll miss you forever.

Insity - Nobody Told You

Last week I found an acapella from a vocalist named Gizella with the repeating phrase "If only we could change the world". Simultaneously, protests and SUBversive revolutions are poppin off in Egypt and elsewhere in the Middle East.

I was inspired to make this track in support of PEACE, justice & freedom in my very small way. My biggest hope is that whoever ends up running the show doesn't just talk freedom but actually delivers the openness and reforms that people everywhere are so hungry for.
