Djmonalisa has the gift of knowing how to tell stories, through her music ranges. Each mix CD connects to your soul, mind, and body. This was a live mix set at a club in New Jersey on a cold winter night. When it was all over the heat was through the roof.  We only recorded 1 hour of the set. It’s a few years old, but still will bring the house to its feet.

She was born and raised in New York City in the 70’s when R&B soul music dominated the world.

Djmonalisa started spinning in her early teens with her mother’s straight arm turntable…that’s right, one turntable and a tape recorder. She says “one night I went to the Paradise Garage and as we all know Larry Levan was the dj; the way he mixed Disco and house music, he had the crowd in a frenzy…. that was a defining moment for me to learn how to master the art of mixing.”
