Mark Sherry & Paul Denton’s collab track ‘Hostel’ at the end of last year was a really big release for them, with it notching up some serious DJ support from all the key players of the scene. Sneijder utilises the original chords but turns the break into a more ‘uplifting’ affair, lulling us into a false sense of security that quickly vanishes when the stripped back ‘psy-trance’ drops from hell kick in! The original 'Picotto Mix' of this track rocked a whole generation of clubbers and inspired producers alike with its genre-busting acid-power. With Mauro's personal blessing, the mighty 'Taub' returns on Outburst with 2 of Scotland's finest tech-trance troopers Mark Sherry & Stephen Kirkwood leading the charge. Mark puts his own grizzly tech stamp all over it with tight & crispy percussion, detuned and twisted saw leads whilst retaining that all important classic distorted acidic drop. Stephen's remix is one of those special productions that would fit into a techno set every bit as easily as a trance set. His fondness for the original shines through as the groove is set to 'minimal' but the power output is set to 'maximal'. The past meets the future as this remix takes us back to the hay day of tech-trance and updates it with a summer 2017 festival vibe. Your next stop?...the Twilight Zone!
