It was hard to imagine that Proxima Centauri B, a planet with a high civilization index, would one day become a savage mining colony. The once-thriving clan of Castafarian Keepers had been torn apart by internal strife. The names of influential leaders were erased from history in a series of purges, while the more compliant ones sided with the darkness. Yet, scattered across the boundless landscapes, there were still those who remained true to the ancient traditions.

— Are we sure this Kujo guy got it right? First the portal, then the memory module, and now the trip to here. This is madness, Doc!
— Sometimes, even I forget what I am truly after. Let’s just enjoy the view for now. We’ll find out everything soon enough.

A glimmer of teleportation shimmered in the twilight. Queen of the Smorings was never late. Approaching Spacelunch and Cat, she nodded warmly: “So, how do you like it here?” The conversation flowed as naturally as if no time had passed since their last meeting. It was now clear that the disappearance of Nomad had been an omen of what was to come. The guidance of the warrior queen sounded definite and convincing. Once she was done, a burlap pouch containing an unknown mixture appeared in her hand as if conjured out of thin air. “Take this. It will help in your upcoming encounter. May the force of the elements be with you.” With the sun slipping below the horizon, the gathering of the elders was about to begin. There wasn’t a second to lose.

SoHaSo presents a second compilation to celebrate their 11th birthday: Horizons. 11 tracks by current artists on the Utrecht-based record label.
 
11 Horizons will mark the route it is taking. It will be a long and winding road across futuristic dance floors and over soothing electronic fields. The album opens with two blissful chillout tracks. Label stalwart https://soundcloud.com/bas-dobbelaer draws the route for some serious laid-back unwinding. Or should we say rewinding, since the drum machine sometimes seems to move backwards.

Japanese super talent https://soundcloud.com/sooishi dives deep into details with a wonderful dreamy contribution. Ophelia has the same dubby feel as RAMZi but comes with a clear Asian twist. https://soundcloud.com/milio-101 debuts on SoHaSo with a dub-infused and slightly melancholic club track, while https://soundcloud.com/humanspacemachine drags us into the acid vortex.

While Horizons mainly contains new material, SoHaSo also looks back occasionally to give forgotten classics new life. Digital Fingerprint by Biological came out in 1998 on the now forgotten record label EC. More than 25 years later, its bouncy break beats still sound super fresh.

Dutch Techno producer https://soundcloud.com/quincemusic doesn't release much, but when he does it's always dope. Can't Hear You is spot on Detroit electro with a mighty strong punch. Label owner Nuno dos Santos delivers a melancholic beatless clubtool under his https://soundcloud.com/dwaalgast108 moniker. No kicks nor baslines but tons of Detroit-ish soul. 
 
Newcomer Small Solar System Body (https://soundcloud.com/david-hulsken) dives deep into dubtechno with Echoes of Entropy. Next year, SoHaSo releases an album by this talented producer. Dance veteran https://soundcloud.com/remyunger takes the route to motorcity Detroit on Mimpel, a driving techno track with beautiful keys and intricate melodies. 

After two albums, Far Out Radio Systems (https://soundcloud.com/thomasneyens) is ready for more goodies on SoHaSo. This City Is Ill paints a bleak future though, with its strong sentiments and black keys. Closer Rotiriot is by Dutch producer https://soundcloud.com/love-over-entropy, who only used one synthesizer for his upcoming album on SoHaSo, a Yamaha DX11. If you're into early Aphex Twin, you will love this.

A few words from Artist:

"Widma" is a word rich with nuance that defies direct translation. In Polish, it encompasses not just spectres, but also phantoms, ghosts, and wraiths—these are shadows of what once was, or perhaps never truly existed at all.
On the other hand, "Mara" evokes something more personal—a weighty presence that descends upon you in the night. It isn’t merely a creature; it is an oppressive force, a vision that lingers long after you awaken.
This EP draws its inspiration from solitary walks around Mount Radunia, nestled not far from Wrocław. Once revered as a site of ancient sun worship, Radunia is home to remnants of sacred ramparts, even if it often remains in the shadow of the more famous Mount Ślęża.

Yet, when you tread its slopes alone, an uncanny sensation envelops you, as if an unseen companion is walking alongside you, sharing in the experience.

Club Alpino is a DJ and producer from Wrocław, Poland, on a quest for deep, pulsating, and hypnotic sounds inspired by folklore and the raw mountain landscapes. Since 2004, he's been playing in clubs and festivals across Poland, the Czech Republic, Iceland, Germany, and Lithuania, sharing the stage with acts like Actress, ArchivOne, Błażej Malinowski, Faithless, and Randomer. His music has also been featured in artistic installations at the Pan Tadeusz Museum in Wrocław and the VBKO Gallery in Vienna. We are always honored to host something from one our favorite labels @secuencias_temporales, this time with emerging artist @yya. The Mood Series reaches its 145th edition with a warm welcome to Ukrainian producer Toishy Koshimi. Echo Vector is a beautifully balanced six-track journey through modern dub techno. Koshimi blends brisk, techy energy with deep, enveloping atmospheres that balance deep listening yet still being DJ material. Opener 'Voltage Memory' has propulsive rhythms and drifting chords that gather like clouds above a steady, head-nodding pulse. This is prime early-night club material. 'Brume Nocturne' digs deeper, its cavernous textures and melodic softness tempering the pace, building slowly before resolving into a gentle landing. The title track 'Echo Vector' glows warmly, underlined by a deep bass and flowing arrangement that brings introspection as much as movement. On 'Nebelraum', Koshimi crafts a feeling of mysticism, layering dynamic chords over a gradual build that feels almost ritualistic. 'Void Frequency' lightens the mood with airy pads and swirling chord patterns, almost storytelling in their progression yet purposeful. Closing cut 'Fogline' is one of the more assertive moments here as its bolder chord stabs lending weight while still retaining the EP’s deep-listening sensibility. With Echo Vector, Toishy Koshimi proves adept at the classic dub techno balance: hypnotic enough for headphones, yet with the rhythmic push and sonic detail to work in a club setting. It’s an assured debut in the Mood Series tradition, highlighting a strong Ukrainian artist in the global dub techno community.
