Our Scene compilation 2022
 
This year we’re presenting our very first Listen compilation as an extension of our year-round Our Scene platform.
 
This release unites a wide spectrum of electronic music on a double gate-folded vinyl. With 12 artists serving up anything from ruff techno to ambient, the Our Scene Compilation sketches a profile of the diversity that characterizes Brussels’ music scene.  
 
A limited run of the compilation will be available as of March 28th, 2022.

"Mirinae / 미리내" is a dialect of the ancient Jeju Island, it means 'the Milky Way / 銀河水'. In the shape of a huge vortex, hundreds of millions of stars are forming with certain order. Mirinae refer a great cosmic river where dragons were living to the ancient Jeju people.

Øbsidiaän (@obsidiaan) is the duo project formed by the Mexican-born, Barcelona-based artists Hector Tlaseca and Yves Del Rio. They produce their own music which they perform live as well as delivering solid and consistent DJ sets, where they explore sounds, rhythms and textures ranging from Ambient to Techno. As part of their sonic exploration, they also run the label “Feinkost Records” (@feinkostrecords) aiming to give an outlet to like-minded artists with a serious proposal in music making.

DJ Set recorded at the closing party of the BONE X IKLECTIK Festival at Sala Taro - 13 to 5th July 2023, Barcelona.

The BONE X IKLECTIK Festival aims to establish a creative bridge between London and Barcelona, allowing local communities to discover the projects that are being generated in both cities. With more than 30 artists from London and Barcelona, the avant-garde music scene will come closer than ever before.

HOCast #168 - Øbsidiaän - BONE X IKLECTIK 2023

We proudly present this live-recording of Nikos; that serves as a journey through the more chilled out vibes of his electronic music pallet. 

Using playful and hypnotic sounds, Nikos likes to create and play music that encourages movement and a listening experience. In his live sets he moves between fast rhythms and slower beats, bringing soft and hard sounds together. He has also encapsulated his versatile sound in his first EP ‘Metaturnal’ released on Flippen Disks.

As a producer and visual designer he is interested in how both disciplines can complement each other such as in his audiovisual project UMBRA. Nikos likes to organize listening events in a relaxed setting, which he does throughout The Netherlands, under the name of Pelagic Ambient.
