Desde San Sebastián, Iñigo Medina, también conocido como M4, nos ofrece un universo sonoro que fluye entre el dubtechno, el ambient y el electro, trazando una línea invisible que une la melancolía con la esperanza, lo analógico con lo emocional.

Amante del hardware, de los sintetizadores con alma y del detalle que susurra, M4 ha colaborado con sellos como Redsonja, Slope Point o Avantroots, y ha compartido escena con nombres como Sebastian Mullaert, Frank Bretschneider o Suso Saiz.

If you are into psychedelic and adventurous electronica, you'll love So Oishi's second EP for the Dutch record label SoHaSo. Herbology is a five-part trip where acoustic and electronic elements merge in slow motion. On his last record, The Lithospere EP, Japanese producer So Oishi showed off his skills in a variety of styles. But this time, Oishi keeps things slow and dreamy for most of the ride. 

The opening track, The Opposite Shore, has a Heart of Darkness-kinda vibe, with strange noises emerging from the river banks somewhere deep in the jungle. On Canopy Rites, we've seem to have reached an African village, judging by the tribal rhythms coming from the shacks ashore. 

Next up is Artemis, the only proper club track on this otherwise intimate EP. With its kick drums and howling bass, it reminds us of early Underworld productions. It’s a surprising center piece on Herbology. With Sinking and Herbology we're back in chill out territories, where acoustic instruments like tablas and flutes float harmonically with electronic soundscapes.

Federsen’s Alt Dub label is back with its third ‘Artist Series’ VA, and it’s another gem for the heads who like their dub techno deep and unbothered. This edition lands with contributions from cv313, Taction, Hidden Sequence, and Fletcher, each orbiting around Federsen’s signature ethos: texture, depth, and restraint with purpose. 

Fletcher’s “A Distant Place” opens the B-side like a sunbeam through a dusty window. It’s soft, but it cuts. There’s a pulse here, but it drifts. Think of a long drive with nowhere to be, or a trail that leads somewhere quiet. The piano glints like light on water, while the groove rolls steady beneath, holding space without crowding it. It’s introspective but never cold, made for golden hour and places without ceilings. The third edition of ‘Artist Series’ is available for pre-order before it releases on May 26.
