Colombians have been mobilizing since April 28th in a National Strike that has continued now for several weeks throughout the country. The Colombian people are mobilizing against several issues from governmental mismanagement and corruption.

Throughout the country many people have been killed and repression is expected to continue as the Colombian people are unwilling to accept the government's terrible management of the pandemic and disrespect of its own people.

With this release we want to show that we're standing right next to not only our Colombian friends but every single local that has to suffer from this terrible situation. The release will be 'name-your-price' for as long as our support is needed and all funds will be donated to the Red Condor Collective.

Throughout the last several years, our beloved Delayed platform has been growing. Each and every day, shining a spotlight upon fresh faces, storied veterans and everyone in between. Building relationships, introducing new ones, always striving to make a mark. Today, I’m overjoyed to help shine the spotlight upon the core of Delayed, the musical north star if you will, that is Gilles Wasserman and Irina Kotik aka Moon Patrol. Hearing and watching their journey deeper into production has been quite the ride. As time passed, each new snippet and track seemed more refined, more complex, more, dare I say, them? To see your friends hitting their stride is a special sight, made all the sweeter by the support they’ve given other artists in days past. I hope they feel a tenth of what they’ve given out.

Fresh off their Moofter release on Laura BCR’s ‘On Board Music’, Moon Patrol’s next offering, ‘Moxie’ dives deep into a world, rich with lush pads, warm percussion, all lending towards painting an auditory motif that would match any of those special morning moments. Ones where an all encompassing mist slowly gets burned away by a rising sun exposing the forest below. Almost as if the entire world was waking simultaneously.

Moxie is one part of a 14 track compilation named "Migung 미궁" being released on the fantastic South Korean-based label, Huinali Recordings at the end of this month. Moon Patrol will be joined by other Delayed favorites such as Adhémar, Inhmost, Doltz, Ocram Orchestra, Daniel[i], OWL, and more. 

Once again the Delayed family grows!

Hanyo van Oosterom lived in the small cave of the Kallikatsou in the early eighties, finding inspiration there for the Chi project (1983-1986). From the nineties to 2006 he created drones, loops, samples and soundscapes, traveling numerous times annually back and forth to the Kallikatsou for fine-tuning. With the Original Recordings and Bamboo Recordings, both strongly connected to the Kallikatsou, creating the perfect timeframe, “the circle [is] closed. Together these recordings reflect and express the different aspects of the experience. A trilogy of random dream-catching over 30 years.”

Dedicated to the life and work of Robert Lax (1915-2000), the American poet who lived on Patmos, Greece, as a self-exiled hermit since the sixties. Jack Kerouac called Lax “one of the great original voices of our times, a Pilgrim in search of beautiful innocence”. The Chi Factory would like to give special thanks to his good Patmian friends Ulf Knaus and Nikos Eliou, who showed us his house on Patmos (everything is still the same since he left) and also his favourite old wooden door (see leaflet). His great minimalistic poetry became a source of inspiration for the Mantra Recordings. His life on Patmos was far away from public attention - quiet and always surrounded by the skies, seas, cats and birds. Lax was a real dreamcatcher.

Part One

The first Various Artists release on Kynant, ‘K.Y. Spaceʼ. Mike Parkerʼs unmistakable modulations and the broken-beat, UK techno of Forest Drive West share the A-side. Korridorʼs ultra-deep sonic exploration leads into fellow Swedish artist Fjäder crafting a downtempo beat in her signature ambient style.

Inspired by a French botanist, Francis Hallé, the album aims to detail the architecture of plants with various ramifications. We are carried by the changing lights, the rhythms and the sounds of organic materials all the way through, thus immersing us in various temporalities.
