This week's guest is Johnzo West – a native Hoosier based in Los Angeles whose music is reminiscent of the sepia-toned glory days of California’s Laurel Canyon sound. West’s profile got a considerable boost in 2012 when he accompanied Miley Cyrus on a version of Bob Dylan’s classic song, “You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go” that was featured on the album, Chimes of Freedom: Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International.

When they finally embarked on a tour together after months of remote collaboration, their connection was palpable and immediately evident to both them and their audience.  Frechette and Thomsen have been a duo ever since - logging over 130 concerts in 2013 alone.
