Nicola Fornasari was born on 25 May 1977 in Cremona (Italy). He was the bass player and singer of the hardcore band Entropia from 1995 to 2006, releasing stuff on various international compilation, a 7" on Tenia Records (ITA), a full length CD on Six Weeks Records (USA) and playing more than a hundred gigs all around Italy and Europe. 
He started working as Xu(e) (duo with Andrea Poli) in 2007, as Xu (his solo project) in 2010, as La Petite Vague (duo with Diego Balconi) in 2012 and as That Which is Not (duo with Pier Giorgio Storti) in 2020. He is also member of Twyxu and Zero Wait enSemble. 
He currently works as a graphic designer and teacher. 

His works have been released on Eilean, Whitelabrecs, Shimmering Moods, Krysalisound, Flaming Pines, Twice Removed, Cathedral Transmissions, Triple Moon, Thirsty Leaves Music, Audio Gourmet, Tessellate, Haze, Many Feet Under, MFU/Concrete, Subterranean Tide and Laverna.

"MüSzi was a co-working space at he the border of the center, at the last floor of an old building that was hosting the carcass of what once used to be a shiny mall.  A space big enough to give shelter to the repeatedly chased away underground tribes of the city. 
We had rented one of the spaces available and opened what slowly became a studio, an office, a second home, a concert or rearsal room. Sometimes a bedroom. 
A creative, vibrating hub at the core of MüSzi, generating a wide magnetic field that kept creative people in orbit around it, playing music and experiencing its power. 

Visionary Mind Lab was pulsating loud, day and especially night. 

We threw a few events at MüSzi main hall too: on March 12, 2016, The Lab joined into a few hours long jam session. We dusted off the recording and after 4 years we decided to release a part of it to celebrate those times. The space had to close, our lab shut its doors and a lot of energy got dispersed. This recording will help us not to forget too much."

Patrice5 (@patrice55) and I are happy to now present track 4 in our new collaborative concept album in progress, "Altitude". Patrice5 composed, mixed and recorded his part on 27 September 2025 in MAGIX, and I composed, mixed and recorded my part, improvising on Akai MPK mini keyboard connected to Logic Pro, in the evening of 4 October 2025. That same late evening, I also combined our two parts, arranged, mixed and recorded this collaborative track in Logic Pro, and we release it today here on SoundCloud, in the late Sunday morning (in Europe) of 12 October 2025.

The artwork cover for our album "Altitude" (2025) and all tracks in it uses a photo shot by Alex M on 26 September 2025 cropped and annotated by Alex M in Mac OS Preview on 29 September 2025 - in coordination and agreement with Patrice5.
