Unsere heutige Ausgabe entführt ins in die Schweiz zu Don Son, welchen wir bereits seit seinen Anfängen kennen und zu schätzen wissen. Sein Sound besticht aus einer Mischung aus verspielt organischen und treibenden Momenten, die somit jedem Raum zum Träumen und Tanzen geben. Sein für uns eingespieltes Set im XXL Format, vermittelt einen tollen Eindruck des oben beschriebenen und glänzt mit tollen Übergängen, sowie mit einer ganz besonderen Atmosphäre. Einer Stimmung, die einer Afterhour voll und ganz gerecht wird.

✔️ Was sind deine musikalischen Einflüsse? Was ist dein musikalischer Hintergrund?

Meine musikalischen Einflüsse sind weitreichend und ungebunden. Grundsätzlich fahre ich schon eine emotionale Schiene, da mir der Ausdruck der Gefühle immer sehr wichtig war, sei es durch Texte oder Melodien. Unmöglich, das in wenigen Worten zu konkretisieren. Auf der anderen Seite hat mich amerikanischer Hip Hop aus den 90ern und 2000ern sehr geprägt, ich rappte sogar selber für über 10 Jahre. Wir haben heute noch ein riesen Vergnügen in die über 1000 aufnahmen reinzuhören.

✔️ Was macht deiner Meinung nach eine gute Afterhour aus?

Auf alle Fälle Spass. Die richtige kombination aus Menschen, die eine tolle Synergie ergeben, und sich auch für ein wenig Schabernack nicht zu schade sind. Und selbstverständlich der passende Soundtrack, was aber kein bestimmter Stil sein muss, wenns passt, dann passts. Obst und Tee schadet auch nicht.

✔️ Welche Gedanken magst du uns zu deinem Mix mit auf den Weg geben?

Ich freue mich bereits seit einem Jahr auf den Tag der veröffentlichung. Natürlich ist das ein schöner Moment, zumal ich den Channel schon viele Jahre verfolge und deren Diversität sehr schätze. Mir war wichtig, ein paar eigene Tracks einzubauen, und drumherum eine Geschichte aufzubauen. Eine Mischung aus emotionalem, organischem Indie Dance entstand.

Pangea is always a highly anticipated gathering!

Returning after 2 years to play at the beloved Canyon stage was a true honour. My Saturday afternoon set unfolded under the warm, glazing sun, playing to a floor filled with eagerly awaiting listeners and dancers ready to start their day.  

I'm overwhelmed and filled with immense joy and gratitude for everyone who joined me on the 2 hour journey of shared dancefloor therapy. Looking out, I saw a sea of familiar and unfamiliar faces, each radiating an energy that made playing so enriching and memorable. From me to Pangea and each of you who danced with me, thank you!

Autumn arrived, together with powerful winds and waterfalls pouring out of the sky... for some days now.  
Living in a yurt is being very connected to Nature and all its elements, which I truly Love very much. It's what I've chosen for and I'll walk this path with grace. I've never before been so happy to have found a Lifestyle that I fit in, just by listening and following my Heart and Manifesting what felt so Right. Nothing seems impossible if the arrow is pointed in the Right direction. And with a little Magic from the Universe that shows me the way.
It has been challenging, for sure, and I've learned a lot already, but it was and still is all worth it because now I feel much more involved with the cosmic and natural energies, the seasons, the flora & fauna around me, the Universe, the Cosmos and All Existence, Life as it Is. 
When the winds blow this strong, and my mind goes all directions with some concerns, I just get the sails up, tighten the ropes and shut my mind off to set the right course ;) This time by creating this set while the winds and the rains blow and pour down my yurt. 
It helps me to overcome the storm depression that's not discretely flying over these lands. 
What Nature brings about here and now, I feel it deeply in my body and soul. Just like the New Moon in Libra, my sign, as well is the Red Planetary Moon :)
So I follow whatever the vibe, like a rollercoaster ride.
I trust, accept, embrace and integrate.
