Here's a version of the famous Nadia by Nitin Sawhney - a song that I love to pieces! This recording was the result of a late night jam at Krimson Avenue Studios to try out a new microphone and it was recorded in one go with minimal work on it post recording. Happy listening! 'Pyaasi' is from Swarathma's debut album released on EMI Virgin India in Jan 2009. This version features the inimitable Shubha Mudgal, special guest on vocals. The song tells the story of a river, whose waters have been disputed for years. The song was featured in a music video by Global Water Challenge to highlight water woes that the world faces.
