A breeze of Arabhi

After a very long time, I was motivated to sing @ almost 2300 HRS because of @justsomeone . I was in the mood for raga Pantuvarali/Puriyadhanashri . Singing after a long time, the strain in the voice is quite obvious in many places. But whatever :-)

Music For Meditation - Raga Darbari Kaanada

Yesterday night felt restless and started playing krishna nee begane baaro (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krishna_Ni_Begane_Baaro). The beauty of raga yaman kalyani and the tune of the first line just made me feel so peaceful that I just decided to play only that...

So here is the improvisational take on the first line of the song... Only the first line of the song :-)

Indian Flute

This was a recording of raga karaharapriya that I had played I suppose more than three years back. Ramblings on the raga charukesi on my flute......randomly recorded stuff with only some reverb and delay... :-)

was trying to visualise a color while playing it started with yellow and then started moving and mixing about as i played :-)

but the final color i dunno what i got as i opened my eyes when suddenly it struck me its past 9oclock and ppl mite complain :-o :-(

A song on Lord Muruga, Enna Kavi Padinalum. I fell in love with this song when I was a kid, the first time I heard Madurai Somu sing it. Set in a raga called Neelamani.
