Indiana Tones end their year with a bumper collection of brilliant beats. It is a round up of their best tunes from 2017 called Year of the Rooster and packs a real punch across 13 tracks. All the label artists old and new feature along the way, with plenty of different shades of house and tech all explored with real style. 

Freiboitar & Pete Adams - 'Get Back' kicks things off with party starting house, riddled with big piano chords and feel good vibes. A Nhan Solo remix of 'Fly Girls' is then a chunky and funky affair while Bombay Traffic layer up the tech loops and snaking basslines on their 'Get Loose', an amped up track full of energy. Superlover then builds the mood with his cosmic disco house remix of 'Love to Laugh' and Klangtherapeuten - 'Get It On' is a deeper number with soulful synths and funky little guitar riffs propping it up. 

The second half features bumping, jazz flecked deep house such as the sweet vocal laced roller 'Stoned Love' from Pete Adams and Dilby’s spaced out late night charmer 'Invisible' with its emotive vocals and poised bass. For more prickly and kinetic house check 'Yeah Boy' from YNOT & DBMM and SHMN feat. Jinadu - 'Absolution' for some spine tingling stuff with soaring male vocal work. 

DEMIR's 'Possession' (Markus Brodowski Remix) rounds things out in reflective mood and finishes off what is an excellent compilation in impressive style.
