Gio's background beat - 1:26:17, 9.15 AM

I created this 5-track with my partner gio. The point of the song was to show DYNAMIC RANGE between the parts of a typical, 5-part Rock Song. This meant that I needed to change volume levels in my mix to be sure the melody was the featured part. I also added my own style to the song to make it sound a little more techno. The hardest part of this assignment was getting started.

Project 9 - Heart & Soul

I created this 16-beat pattern in DM1, an  Apple App at Pittsburg High School by myself. I had to make one track that reflected the Rock pattern in a previous assignment but one thing I like about each of the others was the simlicity. I was going for a 8-bit-percussion beat.

Project 10 - DM1 Loop 1, 2, 3, 4 (Verse + Chorus + Bridge + Breakout)

This is an example of the kind of work I could create as a demo of my DJ abilitieies. I created this 5-track Beat Sample project on my own, using one of the drum loops I created in Project 10, I created a my own 4+-track loop pattern in DM1, added a bass line, recorded my own DJ / Artist Tag and then included at least one short sample from a song that fit with my beat to show how I could use multiple forms of media together to create music for a live show I would enjoy playing music for.
