Gila River tribe reverses decision on conserving water

Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg holds a press conference in Washington, D.C., on September 27, 2023.

Buttigieg discussed the impacts of a government shutdown on America's transportation system. He said Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives are putting millions of jobs and people's lives at risk by failing to fund federal agencies like the Department of Transportation.
