‘Bible School Teachings’ was recorded during early 2021 – and as always, Murray Man comes through with a serious message in the lyrics, topics regarding the current climate. ‘Time to Rearrange’ by Jane Warriah, also featuring for the first time on Indica Dubs, is a straight headshot to the Babylon system, calling for the youths to rise up and make a change! This vocal was originally recorded mid 2020 on another riddim by Indica Dubs - however the vibes from the vocals inspired this new riddim which you hear today!

The 10” contains 4 mixes in total; 2 vocals with 2 dub mixes. The dub mix on Side A has flying echoes with vocal bits, and the dub on Side B is totally raw instrumental dubwise! The riddim produced together by Indica Dubs & Forward Fever – whom together have produced hit songs such as Righteous Man, Let Jah, The Wisest Live Long and more. Guitars played by Liam from Partial Records. Mixed by Indica Dubs at the Indica Dubs studio. Mastered by the mighty Vibronics at the Dub Cupboard studio.

Earthquake has been around for quite some time now yet always kept a low profile and stayed very underground. Only known to the few who've come across them. Originally Earthquake was made out of a duo consisting of TNT Roots and Winston Dread. It was way back in the eighties that their musical journey began in Northampton where they also made the first vocal recording of a young Tena Stelin (Winston Dread). Through the ninties they released a number of really experimental dub albums which sounded more hardcore and rather unconventional for the common dub market. Nevertheless they were exposed to the roots and dub masses by sound systems like Aba Shanti, Iration Steppaz and others. In the late ninties the duo parted but TNT Roots kept producing material under the name Earthquake. In 2004 TNT Roots and Tena Stelin released, what is to my knowledge the first vocal album featuring Earthquake rhythms, "Cosmic Intervention" which evidently reached a new crowd of people and not only the more hardcore dubheads because of Tena Stelin's contributory. Last year we also saw the release of TNT Roots in the guise of Yahweh Warriors with the album "Yahweh Warriors in Dubwise". Winston Dread and TNT Roots are set to release their first joint Earthquake Studio album in 10 years! Watch this space..
