This time around we rediscover the band’s anthemic sound with the latest single ‘Alright’ via Peanut Records. Set to release their anticipated debut album Electric Soul Machine on the 23rd of April, energetic blues-rock band The Heavy North have shared the featured album track ‘The Genie’ with us. A charismatic jazz-infused rock song, we are hooked from the start to the final epic guitar outro. Amidst the disruption of lockdown, the band maintained their presence with an exclusive lockdown session with Janice Long for BBC Radio Wales. Soon after this remote session, they would do a live set for the second round of the Liverpool Digital Music Festival.
