Palenke Soultribe
Critically acclaimed LA based  Colombian, Palenke Soultribe, have taken electronic music to new heights by deconstructing Afro-Colombian rhythms and blending them with underground beats and exploratory synthesizer sounds. Palenke Soultribe (PST) represents the new generation of Colombian musicians ready to bend all the rules. 
From the moment Origen hit the stage for the first time at a high school variety show, they have received an incredibly warm reception from audiences. Their captivating music, appealing melodies, and energetic performances, have created a buzz which has taken them from that high-school stage to showcases around the country and of course all over their home state of Florida. Inevitably, the latin rock band landed a record deal and released their self titled debut album ORIGEN in 2008.  Origen is led by the charismatic Mirs (Ecuador) on vocals, along with Ruben (Mexico) on bass guitar, Hector (Venezuela) on guitars, and Tonio (Venezuela) on drums. Coming from different backgrounds and cultures did not stop the four driven and ambitious members from getting together, to the contrary ever since they met they decided to turn their dreams into goals and write songs about their personal experiences.  Recently, being selected as the opening act for international pop band Camila (both Todo Cambio Tour and Dejarte de Amar Tour), Daddy Yankee, Reik, and landing a sponsorship by Fender Mexico, Origen continues to ride a wave of success, that is quickly making them one of the next great Latin-American pop/rock acts on the planet.

Los Petardos! were conceived in late 2009 somewhere in the little town of Moca, Puerto Rico. What started as a simple game between buddies looking for a good time while late-night drinking and partying, quickly turned into a musical journey as well as a cultural discovery trip. Macoyo, leader of the group, tells us “We weren’t looking for musical styles to play, we just found our identity in a natural way by going back to our roots and discovering our cultural past through music. Surprisingly, we found absolute freedom in the process.” The result is a distinct garage alternative sound with hints of surf rock. Fast, slinging guitars and contagious beats make Los Petardos! one of the most important live acts in Puerto Rico today.   “We are citizens of a world with a musical past that smells like the beach and the mountains, the inner country, like our island. That’s how our latest album “Rockanrol con gandules” was born... as a direct representation of the modern day Jíbaro.”

San Juan-turned New York residents Suturee are anything but prototypical. Miles away from the lively salsa and bomba that dominate the band's native Puerto Rico, their music features breathy vocals, delicate arrangements and melancholy songs that would feel perfectly at home in the Pacific Northwest.

Ceci Bastida was born and raised in Tijuana, Mexico. At the age of 15, she joined Tijuana NO as a lead vocalist, keyboardist and songwriter and became one of the first women to rise in the ranks of Latin rock. One of Mexico's most important ska-punk bands of the 1990s, Tijuana NO performed together for 12 years and recorded three albums for BMG: NO, Transgresores de la Ley, and Contra-Revolucion Avenue. Their song “Pobre de Ti” and their cover of The Clash’s “Spanish Bombs” are considered rock en español classics. With Tijuana NO, Ceci wrote and produced songs with Manu Chao, Fishbone, Bad Brains, Kid Frost, and The Breeders.  Ceci has been a MySpace Latino Sponsored Artist and she has been a featured artist on iTunes (Free Song of the Week), MySpace Latino (Featured Artist), and KCRW (Today's Top Tune). She was a buzzed about artist at the SXSW Music Festival in both 2007 and 2008, winning critical praise for her six combined performances and showcases.   Ceci is a 2010 Latin Grammy nominee in the category of "Best Alternative Song" for her song "Cuando Vuelvas a Caer".

Mixing jazz Manouche (a.k.a Gypsy Jazz or french jazz from the 40's), blues, swing, bossa-nova, country and other variants of jazz, this mexican band pays homage to "Du Hot Club de France" with a fresh, modern twist to its original compositions. Their big sound commands your attention, and with an eclectic lineup that includes acoustic guitars, upright bass, percussion, violin, saxophone, and singing in portuguese, french, english and (of course) spanish, they're sure to pull you in from the first listen.
