Indigo Sound Engine is the synth-pop project of Dresden-based musician Axel S. Axel is a passionate sound designer and synthesiser programmer. He is a classically trained musician and has played keyboards in various bands - both live and in the studio. After years of covering and remixing his favourite bands from synth-pop, new wave and electro, he has now put together his experiences and ideas to produce his own album. "Plea for Redemption" will contain 11 tracks covering a wide spectrum of synth-pop - melodic, melancholic, energetic. His influences are clear to hear on the album: alongside classics such as Depeche Mode and Camouflage, they include Hurts, MGMT and Marsheaux. In addition to the album, there will also be EPs of remixes - classic extended versions as well as new interpretations of the album songs.
