The 72nd edition of Juicebox Radio welcomes Brenden Dowden, better known as Dowden from Canada. Currently based in Toronto, Dowden is a stalwart with this craft and his style can range from high-octane gritty, progressive to enchanting deep hymns - all with a subtle tone of darkness & mystery. With music recently released on Mango Alley, Clubsonica, Balkan Connection & many more, Dowden makes his debut appearance on our imprint's 58th release - remixing Alan Cerra's 'Arrival' from his upcoming "Henkere / Arrival" EP. To celebrate it, we welcome Dowden on our podcast with an exclusive 90-minute set. Enjoy!

Sydney’ born and bred, Steve Marx has mastered his craft as a DJ over the last 20 years, moving to London in the mid 90’S, he was influenced by the huge brands of the time such as Renaissance, Slinky and Ministry of Sound.
 
He quickly became a trusted name alongside the greats such as Nick Warren, Sasha and Hernan Cattaneo, who till this day insist on him for support whenever they play down under!  
Now heading up the infamous onedotsixtwo label, with his cohorts Tripswitch and Gustin he is not just a DJ to be reconned with, but one of the taste makers of the progressive scene. 

Based back in his home town of Sydney and playing the biggest parties in Australia, Steve travels the world plying his craft at every opportunity, and is snapped up by promoters around the globe to play his amazing musical soundscapes. 
In recent years when returning to Europe, he has played alongside John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and B2B with Eelke Kleijn cementing his place as a global name at the top of his game. 
 
At home in Sydney, alongside running his dance music show on Bondi Beach radio, he has regular appearances for Return to Rio, Boots and Catz among many more amazing events, it’s safe to say that Steve is a force to be reconned with for any dance floor!

Our musician collective called Indigo Theory consists of 3 members. The band was formed in 2014 March. We call our style soulful electronic music. It’s based on electronic instruments and sounds. The main ars poetica is the music with full of emotions, vibration and happiness. Our style comes from the club, concert and music production experiences we got in the past 15 years. Separately we have many internationally recognized producer works in jazz, blues, deep house, techno and chill genres. Our singer Kinga was living and singing jazz in Monte Carlo, Italy and had many jazz, blues and electronic concerts in the last 15 years. Indigo Theory gigs are always live with different variations of electronic music instruments. We have already played together with Lexer, David K, Tom B, Compact Grey, Alle Farben, Eelke Kleijn, KANT, Miguell Campbell, Martin Roth, Kovary and with the most of the Hungarian top DJs in the most exclusive clubs in Budapest. We also played at Sputnik Spring Break Festival in Germany as the only Hungarian band.
