INDIGO BLACK was born in Brunswick , Georgia on a Tuesday morning at Southeast Georgia Hospital. He grew up with his mother and was the youngest six siblings. His mother is from Georgetown , Guyana but moved to America to find a better life. They bounced from Brunswick to Brooklyn, NY while Indigo was growing up so he was exposed to various miscellaneous cultures during his formative years. Cozy believes in the laws of the universe very heavily and he strives to bring the world together with his music , hence why he makes his songs so versatile. He feels as though most people are caged in mentally due to detrimental standards that were presented to him while growing up and he wants to change that and prove that you can be a multi-faceted person and still be accepted. “You don’t have to do just one thing and make sure you never listen to anybody who tries to tell you you can’t” he details in an early interview. Indigo loves and appreciates all of his supporters to the fullest extent and wishes good energy on everybody in the world 🌑
