INDIO is a Peruvian indie rock band formed in Lima in January 2012. The group is composed of vocalist Joi Paredes, guitarist Alito V, bass player Ed Bird, and drummer Barry Void;  all of them coming from different music backgrounds. Joi Paredes former vocalist of the electro band “Sonoradio” (2006-2010); Ed Bird, Alito V and Barry Void former members of the britrock band “Sonnet” (1998-2002), alternative rock band “Glam” (2002-2006), and indie rock band “The Voiders” (2011). "Indio's music comes from the urge to bring out our most primitive side, we party in a primitive way, and we play music in a primitive way”. Indio creates atmospheres through what it is called heart letting out inner sounds in the shape of melodic vocals and intense riffs oscillations.
