L Nix, one of the masterminds behind Iron Shirt Recordings, returns with his most ambitious project to date, the highly anticipated Simulation LP. Hailing from Nelson, BC, Canada, L Nix has been producing music since 2005 and immersed fully into dubstep by 2008. Over nearly two decades, he has established himself with forward-thinking sound design, and a steadfast commitment to the 140 ethos. As both an artist and label head, his vision continues to preserve and evolve the darker, more spacious side of the genre.

Spanning 16 tracks, Simulation LP embodies that vision with precision. L Nix weaves spacious drums, haunting melodic textures, and gritty reese basslines into a cohesive and immersive journey. The project captures the essence of deep, dark dubstep while pushing it into new territory. Adding further depth, the album includes three heavyweight remixes. New Zealand's Victim injects fresh energy into the 140 sound with a bold reinterpretation of Solace. Dubstep pioneer Leon Switch delivers a devastating rework of Tough It Out, showcasing his legendary touch. Lysergene, fresh off his Outer Worlds LP on ISR, transforms Husky into an otherworldly experience.

With its expansive tracklist, carefully curated remixes, and uncompromising sound design, Simulation LP stands as a milestone release for both L Nix and Iron Shirt Recordings.

A Cup Of Tea With Soukah EP22

The 17th 00effort release sees k:i:o:s:k and Undrwght carving out space between introspective IDM and club-ready intensity. Wobbling low-end flows beneath poignant atmospheres, and charismatic leads shimmer against mutant breaks. k:i:o:s:k's rigid polyrhythms melt into Undrwght's swinging grooves and together they crack open to reveal a glowing, elemental, shape-shifting magical force.

"Obsidiana" serves as a metaphor here: a volcanic glass, which mirrors the moment when two realities touch. Inside an open portal, this connection forms music that breathes heat, hardens into shape, then fractures and scatters into new ground.
