Wendy: Please, have a seat.

Wendy: It says on your résumé that you’ve worked for Intellicorp for 5 years. That’s a quite an exciting company. Why do you want to leave Intellicorp?
Clovis: I really like working at Intellicorp, but I feel I’ve gone as far as I can there. I’d like to take a stab at something more challenging. 
Wendy: Well, where do you see yourself in 3 years?
Clovis: In 3 years? In 3 years, I’d like to have a sail boat. I work hard, but in my free time I like to go sailing. 
Wendy: A sail boat! That’s great. Well, before I ask any more questions, I’d like to know what you know about our company. 
Clovis: I know that you’re the fastest growing logistics consultancy in North America. When I was getting my MBA I did several case studies on your CEO, Ted Haggart. I think his approach to management is innovative. That’s why I think this company is a game changer in the industry. That’s also why I want to work here.
Wendy: Thank you. And I agree with you. I joined L-Tech for the same reason. Well, speaking of management, how did you get along with your managers at Intellicorp? 
Clovis: I have a great relationship with my managers. Actually, I’d like to ask you a question.
Wendy: By all means. 
Clovis: Is the management style here really as different as it seemed in my case studies?
Wendy: Yes, I think so. Employees are empowered to make critical decisions without interference from their superiors. In fact, our organization is so flat that we don’t really have managers. We don’t even use the word “manager” here. Instead of “managers” we have “collaborators.”
Clovis: That’s amazing.
