**THE STORY**

At the dawn of the 19th century, a shadow is cast upon the Scottish shores of Loch Sìne. 

Childhood companions Isla and Struan, bound by the sea and an unspoken promise, are torn from each other's lives. Pressured by duty, Struan joins the British Navy, leaving Isla with a precious gift and a vow to return. But the years apart bring many changes - both at home and at sea.

As Struan is set to return, a rot has taken hold in the village. The men have grown weak, their traditions abandoned, and their leaders corrupted. From across the waves, Isla, gifted with second sight, witnesses a horrifying vision: an unholy force attacking Struan's fleet.

Her warnings to the men of the village are ignored. Despite a storm, Isla takes to her boat in a desperate search for Struan, who she senses is fighting a losing battle.
Now, as the demonic tide finally crashes ashore, their childhood promise becomes an epic quest. 

Confronting the darkness, is the light they hold enough to pull the world back from the brink?

For eleven years already, Fenou has been a synonym for a stylish sound between harmonious electronica and swinging minimal electro. The small but fine sub-division of the well-known Mo's Ferry Productions has created an entirely own niche within the international club scene. Since 2010 the „Fenou Bouquet“ compilations have also established themselves as a representative overview of the multifaceted work of the Berlin-based talent factory. After the previous parts have been compiled by fantastic music selectors such as Marcel Knopf, Dapayk and Douglas Greed, the Leipzig-based musician and producer Stefan Streck aka The Micronaut is responsible for Vol.4. Welcome to „Fenou Bouquet Vol.4 by The Micronaut“!

The Micronaut already left his mark on the last „Fenou Bouquet“ compilation with his track called „Two Lovers“. After the Leipzig-based artist has already released three longplayer elsewhere and rocked the floors at festivals such as the Fusion, the Dutch Eurosonic or Tallinn Music Week, The Micronaut now proudly presents himself as one of the most exciting and promising newcomers on Fenou! Just like the previous „Fenou Bouquet“ releases, Vol.4 kept the conceptual idea to provide a rousing mix of new exclusive tracks, remixes and carefully selected material from the extensive Fenou-Rooster. Although for the first time there is a non-Fenou title that found its way on Vol.4: „Rockit“ by Greeko originally published on Mo's Ferry.

Although the mixture of „Fenou Bouquet Vol.4 by The Micronaut“ is as diverse as the artists themselves, there is a recurring theme: „I wanted to tell a story with the compilation of these tracks,“ said the Micronaut describing this handpicked composition of Vol.4. The compilation represents the likes and dislikes of this Thirty-something guy from Saxony, who also produces soundtracks and image films for various companies. „I like blue, tragic, epic tracks. Tracks that stimulate the inner eye and create images. Tunes that are simply danceable, would be too dull for me.“ And so The Micronaut presents not only The Magician & The Scientist, From Karaoke To Stardom but also Interelektrika and Zaquoir. „I want to take people on a trip.“ A journey that begins with the opener by Martin Kohlstedt and slowly but steady continues to build. „‚Am‘ is a great way to get in the mood. It is also very interesting to hear the interplay of beat and harmony in Lake Powel's ‚Bright Eyes, Dirty Hair (Acid Pauli & NU Remix)‘ while Dapayk's remix of Mooryc ‚Simply‘ pushes forward with high intensity. This dancefloor steamroller is really very out of character, but represents an important contrast to the mood of the entire track list.“

She Knows is a spanish-brazilian duo with an unmistakable sound: a mix of 90's Pop and modern Dance music. Their credo - to take time for the beautiful things in life, in order to experience these on a deeper level - are mirrored in their music. Mit diesem Gedanken im Hinterkopf überrascht es nicht, dass der Sound von She Knows mit seinen 10 bpm weniger sich spürbar von der gängigen Clubmusik abhebt. On Marc Holstege's 'The Boy In The Garden', melancholic strings rise and fall endlessly over a slow breakbeat and shimmering synths. But it's the soulful, contemplative male vocal sitting at the song's core that reaches straight for the heart – and won't let go again. 'Wolves (Sunday Morning Version)' is equally touching, as the Dutch producer guides another delicate vocal through a dazzling slow-beat arrangement with profound results. For their remix, the Italian duo Moonwalk then strip 'The Boy In The Garden' of its sentimental atmospheres, cunningly remoulding the vocals to fit their razor-sharp and cinematic peak-time sound.

Jaquomo's 'Replace Space' is sure to run on repeat. Here, Caro Mac's vocal incites our memories for those lost loves as it floats over pensive chords and a crunchy trip-hop beat. 'Close & Hide' is pitched-down piano house accentuated by another ingenious use of vox, making it just as moreish. Rounding things off with a bang, Fabian Krooss reimagines 'Replace Space' as a playful italo-disco opus of arpeggiated basslines and wonky synths.
