Langit Tak Lagi Merah


Mendadak semuanya terasa menyebalkan.
Langit tak lagi merah.
Silih berganti warna abu dan kelam datang memenuhi ruang.
Walau sesungguhnya disini sangat terang seperti siang.

Mata yang berkaca-kaca.
Bibir yang gagal mengucap kata.
Hati yang tak sanggup mengecap makna.
Lalu, di atas segalanya, langit tak lagi merah.

Aku bisa ucapkan itu tanpa lelah.
Langit tak lagi merah.
Aku bisa ucapkan tanpa perlu dan harus kau dengar.
Karena telunjuk mengunci bibir dengan kasar.

Perlahan tapi pasti segala lara hanya jadi sebuah kisah
Perlahan tapi pasti kau dan aku sama menjadi jengah.
Dan tak satupun di antara kita sudi berkeluh kesah.
Pada langit yang tak lagi merah.

I've been down this road for so long
The good, the bad, nothing matters
No more, I won't point my fingers
To what's right or what's wrong

This morning I got out of bed
I congratulated myself then.
For doing nothing but surviving.
Let go of the thought bout how everything
Supposed to be rhyming.
Rising.
Striking.
Shining.

There are thousands of musts and have tos I've been feeding my mind and heart with.
Things about kindness and compassion too, which I deny, never allow myself to feel.

I exhale the words but they turn into some fogs that fill my brain.
I blow the judgement away, hoping that they'll dissappear into the air.

But the next day I find myself staring at the sun, 
wondering if today's the end of my run.

It always surprised me
Like how easy it is to fall for you
But it also stressed me out.
How it's so difficult to love myself.

Sleepless nights, moments that are now blurry.

Rewatching footprints that were never really there.
Singing songs that don't really lead anywhere.
Not once do they ever really belong
to us, togetherness that I always long
For

Maybe those are the things I see in my reality.
Sadly, it's different from what most people see.
And among those people, there was you, who I hope would at least know for sure.
But the fact that you don't,
Tells a lot about what to do.

Recollecting pieces of the rainbow that never faded.
Patiently waiting till tears dry on their own.
I wish I could say that a new hope brightens a new day.
But all I can do is stay with myself, alone.
